EDUCATION AUDITS WILL AFFECT WV A-F SCHOOL RATINGS

The West Virginia Board of Education appears to be modifying their stance about not taking over county school systems.

Next year, when the state goes to grading all public schools giving them an A-F rating, they are now indicating they might take over school systems that are low performing.

The state appears to have a complicated rating system in issuing the A-F ratings, mostly using the latest standardized testing.
